Reform UK Wyre Forest Branch will be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) on the Monday 21 July 2025 at 8pm at St Georges Social Club, Kidderminster.
To elect the officers for the branch management committee.
Doors open at 7:30pm
Please try to attend, this is an important step for the Wyre Forest branch to be officially recognised by the Reform UK party, and is a key part of democratising the party.
This meeting will be open to members only.

This meeting is being held exclusively to elect the branch Management Committee.
Branch Officers will be:
- Chair;
- Deputy Chair;
- Campaign Manager;
- Treasurer;
- Secretary.
To be eligible to stand for a role on the Branch Management Committee a fully paid up Member must have held Membership for one hundred and eighty-three days (183) [ For this SGM, Joined before 19 January 2025 ], must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and their nomination must be supported by a fully paid-up proposer and seconder in good standing to be considered for hustings.
To register to stand for a role on the Branch Management Committee you will need to submit your application via an online form. Email your request for a link to the online form to info@wyreforestreform.uk we will verify your eligibility to apply against the membership database and contact you accordingly. We can help with details of membership numbers if not known.
Overview of Branch Roles
All branch officers may be required to sign a Party Non Disclosure Agreement, and must abide by the Branch Rules (18/06/2025) available on request.
The purpose of the branch within the Wyre forest Area is to:
- Campaign and win all elections
- Recruit candidates for elections
- Raise funds for the Party
- Sign up new members
- Promote the Party’s values and objectives
Chair: responsible for the good running of the Branch, and ensuring that all of the required reporting is performed to the standard required by the Party head office (HO). Will need to be IT literate to operate the membership database and email services. Needs to be a good communicator and be able to control public/branch meetings and orchestrate balanced debates. Must be able to develop good relationships with candidates and elected councillors.
Deputy chair: Must be able to substitute for the branch chair, see role for Chair.
Campaign Manager: responsible for the monitoring of bi-election opportunities, managing election campaigns. Plan canvasing activity, develop canvasing and delivery teams. Manage the development of walk routes and leafletting.
Treasurer: responsible for managing the branch finances, recording donations made by individuals that are required to be independently reported in line with Legal and Party reporting requirements. Managing cash donations along with tracking electronic donations and recording donations of goods and services and the respective value. Providing regular financial reports in line with Party requirements. A background in finance or accounting will be useful.
Secretary: The role of branch secretary has one major duty, that is to record the minutes of branch meetings and other official meetings of branch officers, where there is a requirement from HO to report such meetings. There is a HO template for meeting minutes to use. Minutes will be sent by the Branch Chair to the Regional Director.
Official Branch Meetings will include things such as Communication plans, Fundraising initiatives, Campaign plans, Progress updates.
