Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Environment and Communities
It has been an honour to be elected to represent Stourport’s Mitton division. The honour has increased by being appointed to the cabinet for the environment and communities. I am sure that I can bring my extensive experience to bear, to deliver efficiency for the residence of Worcestershire.
The journey over the last 8 weeks has been intense and a steep learning curve. We have all had to understand the who, how the Worcestershire County Council works. The picture is becoming clearer, and we have good people who continue to work as doctors, nurses, engineers and entrepreneurs with real world experience. This is our strength that drives our efforts.

Supporting Learning Bridge FREE Reading Club
Councillor Ian Cresswell, cabinet member with responsibility for the environment and communities has listened to the concerns of Teacher of English, Cate Fletcher who was keen to review literacy levels amongst the community.
VJ Day Commemoration Ceremony 15th August
We will not forget the sacrifice and we will remember all those who served in our armed forces from Britain and the Commonwealth. They sacrificed so much to preserve our way of life.
Councillor Ian Cresswell has attended the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day Commemoration Ceremony that took place at the offices of Wyre Forest District Council.on 15th August,
